On Saturday June 26, 2010 established and aspiring music artists, music industry professionals and music enthusiasts will network during the inaugural Music Industry Connections (M.I.C.) Seminar & Showcase. The event which takes place at The Russell Bazaar, 1600 Clay in Detroit, Michigan begins at 12:30 pm. Spectators are encouraged to attend the event which is free of charge.
Music Industry Connections (M.I.C.) was established by Stacye’ Jones, founder of Stanford-Jones Media. After years of cultivating business relationships with a number of music professionals, Ms. Jones wanted to create a platform for aspiring artists to network with industry professionals as well as display their talents.
This insight seminar will feature a groundbreaking panel discussion. The panelists include entertainment lawyers, music journalists, music producers and more. They will share their knowledge with those in attendance and offer advice to the aspiring musicians.
Following the panel discussion there will be an artist showcase featuring local artists. There is a minimal fee of $10.00 to perform during the showcase. All artists must be pre-registered prior to the day of the event.
